The Theory of Bakin': Every individual has a tale to tell. This is my story of how I became a home baker. Well, I'm Harini Guruprasad, a wife, mother and a passionate baker. Originally from Chennai, now settled in Bengaluru, my baking journey started as a mere experiment. As we all went through the pandemic, I was forced to avoid buying outside food for obvious reasons. But having a 6yo at home puts you through many challenges. The top two being " Hungry" and "feeling bored" AT ALL TIMES. This is when I started exploring baking, so as to include her and keep her occupied. I started with some simple recipes and by diving deeper into the pool, my interests to try out new recipes kept growing rapidly. With an amazing husband~ an angel in disguise, a daughter who is always ready for game and a very supportive family, I started this blog 2 years into my baking journey. The main objective of this blog is to make baking easy, interesting and addictive to you as it is to me. It is definitely okay to try out recipes and fail, because you know " Failure is nothing but Success in Progress". So, fear not to try new things.
